Halloween Birthdays

First of all Happy Birthday to Adrianne and Shelly!!!

I don't know how many of you know that me and both of my sisters were born on/near holidays. So we have always been a really big party holiday family. Shelly was born on Halloween! She has always loved the Halloween carnival parties and things that go along with it. Then she had Adrianne on the 30th! Adrianne is following in her mom's footsteps with the Halloween parties. I helped this the party last Saturday and we had a great time. I loved the being in the back of the fish pond! The kids were all dressed up cute and had fun. Until I add the photos I just wanted to say Happy Birthday and I love you!!!

UEA booth

I had the great opportunity to attend UEA and have a booth with the Epilepsy Association. I had a wonderful time. Although it has been a week I am still feeling a little run down from all the work that went into the booth. I learned a lot and we are invited back for next year. I really think that next year I will do things a little bit different. I was so grateful that I attended. I had an opportunity to talk with some amazing people. We didn't give out as much information as I would have liked to. Although we booked many seizure information classes and I hope we will boost the attendence for crop and the conference from all our advertising. Even if it doesn't, if all of our work helped one person handle a seizure properly than it was all worth while! Plus we are ahead of the game for next year! Thank you to all of you who helped make it possible. I love YOU!!!

HEE HAW farms

Every year Kimmie's school goes to a pumpkin patch. This year it was HeeHaw farms. Erik went with Kimmie. They had a great time and Kimmie is ready to go back. From the photos I wish I would have gone with them.

Johnny's Birthday...

Johnny turned six at the beggining of the month. I can't believe he has gotten so big already. He is such a sweet boy. I am very grateful to have him in our family. His birthday was really different this year. He wanted a Hollywood movie party. So we had award night invitations. We had the kids dress up and they put on a birthday skit and then did the movie pinata. He had a clap board cake. Not one of my best cakes although he loved it. We really enjoyed all the friends and family that joined us to celebrate Johnny.

Finally an update...

I have been working so hard on getting things ready for the UEA booth that the Epilepsy Association of Utah had that I didn't get much done on my updates. Although I have a lot... and a lot of photos. So be patient with me as I update!!!

7 Weird Things

So I got tagged on my friends blog and have to tell 7 weird things about myself, I know I am weird but since that is just me, I'm used to it and it all seems normal! I will see what I can come up with and you all can tell me if it is weird or not!

1. I can't go a day without a shower!

2. I love breakfast for dinner.

3. I am huge into birthdays. My family keeps saying I go totally overboard. I think I get it from my Mom.

4. I don't finish a book unless I get into it in the first chapter. I hate reading but if I get into the book and something I like will do nothing but read.

5. I see no problem with me wearing socks with sandels, unless it is flip flops! Although I don't let my kids do it. LOL!

6. I hate ironing, for a long time we didn't even own and iron. I actually bought my iron for a craft project I was doing.

7. I fall asleep watching reruns of MASH.

Now I am supposed to tag 7 so I tag, Laura, Julie, Marissa, Amy, Wendy, Brandi, and Ronda! Of course anyone else who wants to!

Fun Run

Sorry that it has taken me a little bit to put up a new post. Things have been a little crazy. Two weeks ago on the same day no less both Johnny and Kimmie brought home school fund-raisers. You would think with them going to different schools they would at least be on different days. Usually I just order something from my kids, I may ask my Mom but that is about the extent of our fund-raising school skills. But this year was a little different. We couldn't afford to do both fund-raisers and Kimmie's was so cute that I asked both Grandma's to donate one for each child and I bought one thing from Johnny and donated to Kimmie. Kimmie's was so fun that I had to blog about it. Her school is really big on physical fitness. I lot it! They do a great job! So they did a Fun Run and each child got sponsors to donate for them running around the outside of the school boundaries. Kimmie did great! They gave each child that participated a tee-shirt! I was so excited to see them out doing something rather than selling cookie dough or wrapping paper or something. Congratulations Kimmie for going around twice and raising $23.04!
