Last week when I went to my doctor to check up the spot under my ribs that the MRI found. My doctor found another lump in my neck. So while I was headed for a CT scan anyway she did my neck scan as well. I really like this new doctor. Erik has been seeing him for a while. She has a great way of getting things fixed without going overboard. She also takes the time to listen which is a huge thing to me.
Anyway, I got the results back. My chest is fine. They don't know why I have this black spot, they think it could be from the car accident I was in at 16 but they have no idea. It isn't causing any problems, and so it would be so invasive to find out what it exact is they will leave it alone. The one on my neck is a totally different problem. It is a benign tumor. They are trying to treat it with a strong medication. Hopeful that the medication will help it absorb into my system. If not after the ten days of medication they will biopsy it and remove it.
Thank you for everyone's prayers. It has been a really hard few weeks with this and I appreciate all the extra prayers and help that everyone has been doing for me and my family. Thank you!

Thought for the day...
My friend sent me some jokes today. I liked this one the best so I thought I would share it with you.
It is hard to understand how a cemetery can raise it's burial rates and blamed it on the cost of living.

Dutch Oven
Erik had his first dutch oven competition of the season today. His new partner is Jarin! They had a great time today. They won! I will have to post photos later. Unfortunately, I didn't get there until after it was all over, but I got a few photos. This was the first time Jarin and Erik cooked together. I am really proud of them and excited to see how they do for the big competition in Lehi in two weeks!

Billy's Wedding

We have had a few busy days at our house lately. One of these days I will get the photos on here of Kimmie's birthday party. Although I need to edit them so they are taking more time. But yesterday my cousin Billy got married to a cute girl named Melissa. The bride and groom looked wonderful and they are very happy.
The reception was really nice but my daughter thinks that my cousin Julie's husband is her boyfriend (don't get a big head Bo she has four others from school). Anyway she had a need to dance with Bo every time she sees him. Thank you Bo for playing along and being so good with Kimmie. Also for letting Johnny be in the photo. I think these photos are just sweet.
David Scott Hill III

I have a new nephew! He is the sweetest thing. Shelly is doing well. She even looks beautiful just after delivering! Things went well... She delivered at around 9:45 this morning or so. He is 8 pounds 4 ounces and 20 inches long. He looks a lot like Adrianne. She is so excited to have her new baby brother! He is already a very busy baby!

Congrats Shelly!

Cancer Scare
A little over a month ago I found a lump on my left breast. I don't know if I should say that on a blog but that is where it was. I had a routine appointment with my doctor a week or so later so I just ignored it. My doctor found it and put me on a high dose of Vitamin E. She said that if it didn't go down to call her back and they would schedule a Mammogram and a Ultrasound. So I did that after it didn't go away. I went in for my ultrasound and mammo and the results we that they couldn't see anything but they could feel something there. So they sent me to get a breast MRI. I was suppose to have the results back last Thursday. Although they weren't back and my doctor was out of town for the weekend. So I just received the results a few minutes ago. I am still waiting for my doctor but knowing how nervous I am about this due to the family history the nurse told me the results. The lump is scar tissue. We don't know at this point from what or what they are going to do about it. Erik somehow remembers something being hooked up to me when I hemridged after Johnny. But I don't remember that but I was virtually dead so I wouldn't trust my view of anything that happened at that point. But regardless it is not cancerous! That is the main thing! I am so very grateful for all of the prayers and love everyone has showed me. I couldn't have made it through this without you. It has been a crazy few weeks and thank you for hanging in there with me.

Yard Sale
Words can not express my gratitude for everyone and their help with our yard sale. This morning I felt very overwhelmed with the rain and all the donations. By the end of the day I am so thankful and overwhelmed with the time, money and donations that everyone has given to us. The nice weather finally came out and things turned out well. I have only a few things left.
One of the most amazing things happened. I had a man who asked for info about why we are doing this. I didn't think much of this, he asked how much we needed and all the info. I thought it was weird and but gave him basic info. He borrowed my neighbors computer and paid for the hotel room for Kimmie and I. Words can not express my gratitude for this amazing donation. His wife talked him into giving me his name and phone number just in case of any problems. But he wanted to do this completely anonymous. He said that he use to have seizures as a child. I asked how to thank him and he said to pray and thank the Lord that he stopped and was in a position to be able to help.
I can't believe that this amazing man and his wife came and did that for us. I am also amazed that so many of my friends and family came and help, donated and were there for us. THANK YOU!
I love you!!! I could never repay you for your love and help!

D Track
I know nothing about "normal school year plans". With Kimmie in a special needs program she is always on D track and always has her teacher assignment way ahead of time. I didn't know that getting D track was a rare thing. When I went to Kindergarten Orientation they stessed over and over again that you can not plan on getting D or A tracks. When we got our track assignment this last weekend and we actually got D track I was rather amazed. I put on his sheet that his sister was on D track at another school. So the secretary said they maybe able to put him on D track with it only affecting one child but they couldn't promise anything. So to come back if I didn't get D track and she would see what she could do. I didn't plan on D track just like I was told. But I have had so many people question how I got both of my kids on D track. I never knew this was as hard of a thing as people say it is. I guess I just don't understand. I love having Kimmie in school until the end of June! It gives us six weeks to have time together and she is ready to be back in school and I am ready for her to go back. So I am really excited to have both my kids on the same schedule. Not that I don't love my kids but it is really good they go to school, I could never do the home school thing I don't have the patience. Johnny is excited for Kindergarten and just can't wait. I can't believe he is this old already. And yes we got D track!

Tyler The Smart
I just have to brag for a minute. I know that he doesn't brag so Aunt Kris is going to. Erik's (and my) nephew Tyler just graduated the other day from high school. Not that he should be old enough to graduate. But that is besides the point. I am not just proud of him for graduating and being so great to me and to my kids but he is Valedictorian! He was so not showy at graduation he acted like being the top in the class was no big deal. I am so proud of him and all that he has accomplished. He was 5 when I first came into the family. I fell in love with him and Cody the first time I met them. At five years old he was the biggest Jazz fan I had ever met. I don't think I ever learned as much about dinosaurs in my life as I did within that first year of knowing the boys. I am so overly proud of him. Congrats Tyler and best of luck at Utah State.

Bad Day
Have you ever just had one of those days? Today is one of them for me. I woke up to Erik's friend calling to say he wasn't going to pick up Erik that he was sick. Mind you this really isn't a big deal exept that it was 3:30am. Then I couldn't go back to sleep. I love my husband but no I don't want to talk at 3:30 I want to be asleep. I love that he has been carpooling lately. It makes my life soooo much easier not to menchion the gas I save. You wouldn't think the 4 1/2 miles Erik goes to work wouldn't add up. But taking my lunch and trading him cars and him coming back to get me and all that stuff adds up. So I hope his friend is feeling well in the next few days so today we have to rotate the car.
Anway back to my story. Then I finally get back to sleep. I slept through the alarm. Johnny finally comes in and asks, "will you ever turn that thing off?" Referring to my alarm. I looked at the clock and I only had 15 minutes until Kimmie's bus was going to be at my house. So I ran in and woke up Kimmie. She was not about to get up today. She had some seizure problems over the weekend and was not going to get out of bed. So I forced her to get up go to the bathroom and get ready. By this time her bus was at my door. I sent Johnny out to tell the bus driver just one minute. So that I could get Kimmie her meds and shoes on. So I finally get her out the door and tell her bus driver to have Kimmie go to eat breakfast at school. I ran upstairs and got in the shower and started to get ready. Then I remember if I am going to trade the car with Erik I need to have Johnny ready as well. So I ran downstairs poored him a bowl of cereal and hand him his clothes. To this he says,"Mom I don't want to wear this today." I about strangelled him. Because right as he says that Erik calls and is half way home. I ignored Johnny's I don't want to wear this and told him to get dressed while I ran up the stairs. At this point I am still only half dressed and need to do my hair and make-up. So I get my make-up in a bag to take with me. Hurry and do my hair. Erik walks in and says, "Johnny why didn't Mom get you dressed we need to leave." To this I just said, "Please get your son dressed." I finally got Erik back to work, Johnny to Bethany's and on my way to work. Then I remembered I forget everything I needed to bring today for my EAU board meeting. Realizing that I was going to have to trade the car later I decided to just go to work and not turn around. I stopped and splurged on a McMuffin sandwich from McD's. When I finally got to eat it was cold. I got to work only 30 minutes late talked to my mom and went to work.
No sooner did I start a big project than Kimmie's school called. The conversation goes like this, "Mrs. Hansen Kimmie is having trouble at school we think she doesn't feel well. Will you please come and get her." Me (really suprised after this morning), "really, what is happening?" "She is hitting the teachers, she is complaining about a headache and screaming." I agreed to come and get her. All the way over thinking of all the things I was going to say for hitting her teachers. I walked into her classroom to pick her up. Her and the main teacher were the only ones in the classroom, I said Kimmie why are you having trouble today? Her teacher pipes in saying, "I am so sorry, I didn't want you to think that I did something horrible but I put my hands on Kimmie's cheeks when she was acting up and told her to look at me and stop. She started to scream and said I was hurting her. I didn't mean to do anything (her teacher almost crying at this point). My daughter laughing. I really wanted to just smack my daughter. I tell her teacher not to worry about it that Kimmie was fine and I do the same thing when she gets out of control (the psycologist told me to do that). I made Kimmie apologize to her teacher give her a hug and pick up her stuff to go home. On the way out of the parking lot Kimmie says to me, "I'm hungry, let go to a nice restraunt and get rootbeer." Kimmie's idea of nice restraunt is KFC. Like I was going to reward my daughter for being such a brat.
Short of the other long story I picked up Erik. Bethany still has Johnny and will bring him home later. I dropped off Kimmie and Erik picked up my EAU work and headed back to work. By this point I have been gone from work 1 1/2 hours and because breakfast wasn't good I was hungry. So I stopped and picked up a corn dog (my comfort food from college) and put the car in drive and headed back to work. Then I dropped my corn dog full of extra catsup, all over me, my car, and my purse.
I give up I am going back to bed. I really need a good nap!
Thanks for listening to this big long bad day...
